South-South and Triangular Cooperation Skills Forum: Webinar, e-discussion, and virtual skills fair

The event aims to foster the development of human capabilities in developing countries with a focus on Africa by enhancing their capacity to find solutions to specific development needs and to challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The South-South & Triangular Skills Forum aims to promote and strengthen the exchange of experiences; encourage the pooling, sharing and use of technical and other resources; and to support the development of capacity for partnership negotiation of participant countries and institutions.

The Forum responds to the proposed thematic priority areas for ILO’s support to South-South Cooperation in Africa, especially: 
  • Apprenticeships
  • Skills for Trade and Economic Diversification and
  • Skills for the Digital Economy.

The event will be organized in 2 phases: 

1st phase

E-discussion

2nd phase

February 2021:
A three-day virtual skills fair.
