Eliminating child labour is an important part of the ILO's Decent Work Agenda. Through its International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) the ILO works to prevent and eliminate all forms of child labour by strengthening the capacity of countries to deal with the problem and promoting a worldwide movement to combat child labour. The priority targets for immediate action are the worst forms of child labour.
