For the November 2008 session:
Persons already holding valid entry badges to the ILO building, arriving at any time during the Governing Body, may gain access to the building as
usual. Upon entry, they should report to the Governing Body Registration Desk
situated on level R3 at the south end of the building, where they will be
issued with an official Governing Body session badge. Please note that the
issuance of these session badges is necessary for purposes of inclusion on the
official list of participants and for the accomplishment of other important administrative
requirements.
Persons who do not possess valid entry badges, and who arrive on Monday 10
or Tuesday 11 November, should report to the ILO Pavilion, situated near the
main vehicle access to ILO grounds, to obtain an entry badge, as well as an
official registration badge for the session. The Pavilion will be open for registration between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The
Pavilion will also be open for those arriving on Monday 17 or Tuesday 18 November.
Participants without valid entry badges who arrive outside the dates mentioned
above must access the ILO through the entry on level R2 at the north end of the
building, where they may obtain a visitors’ badge in exchange for a valid
identity document containing a photograph. They should then proceed to the
Governing Body Registration Desk (level R3, south). These persons may retrieve
their identity documents when they return their visitors’ badges on exiting the
building.
For the June
session:
There is no dedicated Governing Body
registration for the session that takes place during the International Labour
Conference in June; registration for the Conference also covers participation
in the Governing Body.
