Development in Kosovo and employment in Albania
The two projects « Skills development for the reconstruction and recovery of Kosovo » and « Assistance to strengthening employment and training system of national employment services », are conducted with the support of the Italian Government and aim to deliver a training system for unemployed and working adults, as well as capacity building to strengthen labour-related institutions in providing counselling, guidance and other assistance to the unemployed.
Flexible demand-driven training addresses both technical and self-employment skills and is conducted either within training institutions or on-the-spot. Programmes are firmly competency-based and designed to provide various levels of training for those sectors which need the higher number of workers. Beneficiaries of the project are management and staff of the vocational training institutions and employment service, as well as unemployed youth and vulnerable groups.
