Kenichi Hirose joined ILO Budapest since January 2008. As Senior Specialist in Social Security, he is responsible for social security, in particular pension reform, as well as occupational safety and health. Prior to this assignment, he worked in ILO Manila (2002-08) and ILO Geneva (1994-2002). Before joining the ILO, he worked for Prime Minister's Office and Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Government of Japan.
Kenichi Hirose holds MSc. Economics from London School of Economics, and B.S. Mathematics from Kyoto University.
