Allowances & payments
In accordance with the decision
of the Governing Body of the ILO and standard rules, the ILO will
provide return travel (economy class) and a daily allowance for official
delegates.
| Daily
subsistence allowance |
A daily allowance
to cover accommodation and the costs of the meals within the duration
of the Forum will be paid to participants. Daily subsistence allowance
will be provided to the official delegates and distributed on 8
October 2003 and will be paid in New Zealand Dollars. Currently
the allowance is NZ$275 per day, however, this may change depending
on exchange rates at the time of the Forum.
The ILO will provide
a round-trip economy class air ticket on the most direct route to
the official delegates.
In order to have sufficient time to arrange the tickets, nomination
forms are requested on or before the 17 September 2003.
In the event that time does not permit the issuing of a pre-paid
ticket, during the Forum, the ILO will reimburse the costs of the
most direct route economy class ticket and only on the presentation
of the official bill/receipt.
All delegates and observers
will pay directly their hotel bills, local transport, travel and
airport taxes and any other incidental costs they incur at the forum
or during their journey.
Visa requirements
Delegates requiring
entry visas for New Zealand will need to obtain these prior to their
departure. However, due to changing circumstances all delegates
are asked to check with their New Zealand Embassy for details on
entry visas and the requirements.

outside the Airport International Terminal. The recommended Taxi
Company is Auckland Co-op Taxis and the expected Fare is approximately
NZ$30 - $40. You are advised to have NZ$ with you for the taxi fares.
