  13 April 2008 - Freedom of association, outsourcing of workers and youth employment have become major employment issues in recent years. To further examine these issues, the International Labour Organization in collaboration with the Indonesian Labour Research and Training Institute (ILRTI) have jointly organized a three-day workshop from 15 - 17 April 2008, at Gedung Yayasan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia, Jakarta.
  
• Situation of Indonesian, Vietnamese Workers in Korea to be Discussed at ILO Meeting - (word 110KB)
  27 March 2008 - The recruitment process for Indonesian and Vietnamese migrant workers in the Republic of Korea will be discussed at two international meetings being organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Government of Korea.

What's new in Timor Leste

• YEP Project
  The Government of Timor-Leste is taking a number of important initiatives to enhance education and skills training for young people and to expand the employment opportunities for young people as they enter the labour force. This Programme will support and build upon these initiatives, drawing upon ILO and World Bank expertise and tools in the areas of youth employment, training, entrepreneurship development and labour-intensive works.
• WISE Project
  The WISE Project will contribute to ease the burden of returnees on the host communities' economy by promoting the creation of self-employment opportunities for women potential entrepreneurs in Baucau, Viqueque and Lautem Districts.
