- Ministry of Social Welfare and Labour (MSWL)
The Ministry of Social Welfare and Labour carries out the government's policy development, implementation coordination, monitoring and evaluation in the areas of labour relations, social security, welfare, employment promotion, occupational safety and health, social partnership, gender, population development etc. The responsibilities of the MSWL are divided between four main departments: the Department for Labour Market Policy and Coordination, the Department for Social Security Policy and Coordination, the Department for Population Development Policy and Coordination, the Department for Information, Monitoring and Evaluation. Mr. Damdin Demberel serves as the Minister.
- Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU)
The Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) was established in 1927. The mission of CMTU is to protect workers' rights, interests and ensure their decent standard of living. The President of the CMTU is Mr. Ganbaatar Sainkhuu.
- Mongolian Employers' Federation (MONEF)
The Mongolian Employers' Federation (MONEF) was established in 1990 with 35 members. It now embraces 21 regional employers' associations and has approximately 7,800 members in the manufacturing, construction, transportation, banking, insurance, and service sector. It advocates employers' interests and promotes the private sector. MONEF works in collaboration with the government/parliament as well as the CMTU. It plays a proactive role in developing and improving legislation, including the Labour Law, Tax Law, Business Law for economic entities, Customs Law and Law on Collective Disputes. MONEF provides information, training and advice to its members on various matters including human resource management. Mr. L. Nyamsambuu is the President of MONEF.
