Pymes (SMEs Programme)
Among the special programmes run by this Institution we find
the one of support to SMEs. It offers technical assistance, training
courses and advisory services in the technical productive area.

de la mujer (Women Programme)
Another one of INATEC's special programmes is the Women Programme.
The target population are unemployed women, single mothers, micro
entrepreneurs and adolescents at risk. The purpose of this programme
is to promote the participation of women in vocational training
and technical and non-traditional training with a gender perspective,
in order to facilitate their access to the labour market with
equal opportunities. This programme includes the promotion, follow-up
and assessment of microenterprises through technical training.

CENTROPYME
The CENTROPYME Network is a Service Unit of SENATI which
is engaged in supporting the micro and small enterprise in order
to strengthen their competitiveness, through the improvement of
their profitability, the increase in the productivity of their
resources, processes and work methods.
InfoPyME
is a Web site that is administered by SENATI and specialises in
the SMEs segment. Its main objective is to provide the micro and
small enterprise sector with a Box of business tools, which contains
the best tools for the micro and small enterprise, entrepreneurs
and consultants.
Institute of Audiovisual Production for Micro and Small Enterprise
Training - IPACE

de Producción Audiovisual para la Capacitación de
la Micro y Pequeña Empresa - IPACE is an office
of SENATI that is engaged in the design and production of the
audiovisual and multimedia material that is used to train entrepreneurs.
Its purpose is to support SENATI and contribute to expand its
teaching facilities towards the Micro and Small Enterprise (SME)
sector in the country.
In this site you will find the different audiovisual and multimedia
services that are offered to the general public, as well as advisory
services and counselling concerning garment, dairy products, bakery
and confectionery and other related issues. These services are
also directed to the large group of SMEs which represent 98 per
cent of enterprises in Peru.

Capacitación Técnica Empresarial para Incrementar
la Producción y Rentabilidad de tejidos en Comunidades
Andinas Convenio SENATI - FONDOEMPLEO (Project on Technical
and Business Training to Increase the Production and Profitability
of Textiles in the Andean Communities. SENATI - FONDOEMPLEO Agreement)
This project was implemented in three representative departments
of the country: Cajamarca, Apurimac and Ayacucho. The aim was
to promote the development of business productive units of handmade
textiles in Andean communities in order to turn an activity of
subsistence into a profit-yielding activity.
At the same time, it sought to increase productivity within the
community and the quality of such textile products that have commercial
potential in the regional market, to promote the organisation
and creation of 6 business productive units and also to facilitate
the access of textile products to the national and international
market.
As a result, direct employment was created for 820 community members.
Native
Communities of Bajo Urubamba
Within the framework of Shell company's support to native communities
situated along Urubamba river in Cuzco, SENATI signed an agreement
with this transnational company in order to provide training and
assistance in technical and operational aspects that are crucial
for the development of these communities.
The main objective of the courses was to promote family, social
and economic development in native communities by offering training
and technical assistance earmarked to the improvement of their
life conditions and the promotion and creation of microenterprises.
Training
for the Andean population in the area of influence of Mining Project
"Las Bambas" (Agreement SENATI / Pre-investment - Centromin)
The agreement between Centromin and SENATI has had the purpose
of bolstering the skills of the population situated in the area
of influence of Las Bambas Project in order to increase the productivity
of the work done in the area as well as promoting business projects
among the population of the area. Training in these places is
the result of the diagnosis carried out by SENATI's IPACE team
in the local areas of Chalhuahuacho, Progreso and nearby communities,
contained within "Las Bambas" Project.
From the belief that training is oriented towards strengthening
the skills of the population and preparing them for a better performance
in the places were skilled manpower is required, this first stage
of intervention was begun in activities such as garment and metal
structures manufacturing.
Uchuraccay:
una luz, una esperanza, una empresa (Uchuraccay: a light,
a hope, an enterprise)
This special project stems from the need to create new enterprises
and jobs in Peru. It worked with an extremely poor Alto-Andean
community, Uchuraccay community. The project sought to guide community
members of Ucharaccay to turn an activity of subsistence into
a profitable economic activity. To do so, it introduced technical
training and business management training, with continuous counselling
and monitoring.
