The third edition of the World Education Forum has the objective of
working on directives, which promote political agreements, educational
planning, programmes and projects at all educational levels against
the educational neoliberal policies. It intends to affirm education
as a public policy of quality, understood as a state duty and extended
to all people.
The 29th a debate on "Vocational training and the illusion of
employability" will take place. This debate intends to contribute
to the comprehension of the complex relations and the existent contradictions
on contemporary capitalism and the world of work. It also seeks to contribute
to the creation of alternative proposals. The de-mystification of the
discourse of the lack of qualifications as a direct cause of unemployment,
the processes of solidarity based economies and the role of education
on the emancipation of the working class will also be present on the
debate.
