* The programem for the Reincorporation to the Civil Life from the Ministry
of the Interior and of Justice and SENA make official their compromises
through a framework agreement that guarantees the cover of the educative
benefit for the individual and collective demobilized individuals.
The two institutions jointly take care of the population in process
of reincorporation, in an articulated way and with common objectives.
This commitment arises from the objective to offer adjusted attention
to the necessities of the Program for the Reincorporation, through 114
SENA's centers of formation distributed in the national territory.
It is of vital importance to positionate the institutional will power
to leave a legacy to the country that concretes the educative service
and guarantees an optimal management.
The agreement will allow:
1. To Strength the formation actions for the reincorporated population.
2. To offer clear policies about the process of attention to the population
in process of reincorporation.
3. To combine efforts for the accompaniment and monitoring that guarantees
the formation for the pursuit of life, employment and productivity.
4. To contribute to the elaboration of productive projects as an alternative
to improve the opportunities of the population and to facilitate its
labor insertion.
5. To guarantee the cover of the Initial Module.
The Compromises of the Programme for the Reincorporation and of SENA
will be framed in:
1. To jointly organize the coordinator committee: to manage, define
and to approve projects and operative plans.
2. To jointly organize the Regional Operative Committee: elaboration
of operative plans.
3. To coordinate actions of planification, programation, execution and
necessary monitoring at national level.
Since the year 2003, SENA comes working in the attention of this population
and is like this that, as to this date, have been formed more than 8
thousand reinserted persons, out of which 4 thousand correspond to this
year.
Among the courses imparted are automotive mechanics, electricity, electronic,
confections, Pisciculture, cattle ranching, construction of rural housing,
administration of cattle ranch farms, minor species and transformation
of cattle ranch related products, among others.
The courses have a length of 500 to 600 hours, and are imparted by
SENA's instructors at national level, but they are specially focus in
the departments of Antioquia, Córdoba, and Bogotá, where
the greatest number of demobilized persons are registered.
