OBJECTIVES

• Promote and strengthen horizontal technical cooperation aimed at the development and modernization of vocational training plans among Latin American and Caribbean countries.

• Contribute to the design of public policies and implementation of programs on vocational training through the promotion of strategic alliances between the State, employers and workers organizations.

• Develop and expand the regional information network of vocational training among Latin American and Caribbean countries through the circulation of information, experiences and innovations, technologies and the accumulated knowledge in the region and through other information networks on vocational training around the world.

• Promote research activities and conduct studies towards the institutionalization and establishment of vocational training plans and programs according to the requirements of efficiency, competitiveness and social equity.
