Publications

The Library and Information Centre is responsible for collecting, processing, and disseminating key labour and employment information to ILO/SRO specialists, ILO constituents, UN and NGO community, researchers and othe affiliated institutions and the general public.

The Library and Information Centre plays a central role in establishing and maintaining contacts with the media and other institutions. It also produces a bi-annual newsletter, and coordinates the publishing of the Discussion Paper series. In addition, the Library and Information Centre stocks key ILO publications and manages the sale of ILO titles in Zimbabwe and the sub-region. The Centre responds to email, telephone, fax as well as personal requests for information. The Library provides access to ILO databases on CDROM; these include LABORDOC, ILOLEX, NATLEX, and the Encyclopaedia of Occupational Health and Safety among others.
