The library's catalogue of BAuA (Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin) is now available online at http://www.baua.de/bibliothek.

The new service uses the web interface OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) to enable searching approximately 200,000 references in the field of safety and health at work. It essentially contains monographs, journals and series in German language. The documents are borrowed for free, the borrower should only pay the fee for shipping back.

The library of BAuA possesses the largest collection of resources in the area of occupational safety and health in Germany. The subjects covered include management of safety and health at work, older workers, visual display unit operators, occupational diseases, protection against fire and explosions, ergonomics, hazardous substances, product safety and psycho-social factors.
