The Employment Intensive Investment Programme regularly produces documents
relating to the EIIP approach. The new publications produced by the EIIP

ASISTDOC publications database
The Employment Intensive Investment Programme has developed a database (ASISTDOC) containing over 8,000 documents relating to labour-based technologies
and local level planning, produced by the ILO as well as its partners. Copies of
these documents can be downloaded from the database or hard copies requested through the facility within the database.
ASIST BulletinThe EIIP publishes the bi-annual technical ASIST
Bulletin on employment-intensive
approaches to infrastructure development and local level planning. Each bulletin
contains thematic articles; a centrefold (pull-out) providing a practical
hands-on approach to a subject or issue/best practice; and project and programme
news from countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. More information

Regional Seminars
Regional seminars for labour-based practitioners bring together practitioners,
policy makers, planners, implementers, researchers and academics from the all
over the world to discuss and exchange views on specific themes related to
employment intensive investments and local level planning. The proceedings and
papers offer a unique rich source of knowledge on the issues, challenges, best
practices and research findings on the application of labour-based
technologies and local level planning. The seminar papers, proceedings and
presentations can be downloaded in PDF format.
