Maritime Activities at the ILO

The Maritime sector is comprised of four sub-sectors: shipping, ports, fishing and inland waterways. More detailed information can be found on the webpages of each sub-sector.

Recent Developments

The ILO has produced four posters to promote the most up-to-date maritime international labour standards. Governments, employers' and workers' organizations can request copies from the Sectoral Activities Branch.
