Events and meetings

The ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team and Country Office for India (DWT/CO-New Delhi) organizes and takes part in a number of events and meetings in the sub-region. Below is a list of upcoming and past events. Any queries should be sent to the office by email.

  1. ILO’s tripartite constituents commemorate International Human Rights Day

    The constituents affirmed that Freedom of association is a human and labour right.

  2. Conclave on Promotion of Sustainable Enterprises for Local Development

    24 November 2023

    The conclave aims to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, MSMEs, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders from India and other emerging economies with the objective of sustainable, resilient and inclusive development and Decent Work for All.

  3. Young Leaders Boot Camp 2023

    24 July - 4 August 2023

    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Young Leaders Boot Camp 2023 – a two-week interactive learning experience which welcomes undergraduate, graduate students and young professionals seeking to acquire the skills necessary to pursue a career in the UN system and other IOs.

  4. Summer Global Youth Forum 2023: Youth at the forefront of achieving the 2023 agenda for sustainable development

    3 - 14 July 2023

    The ITCILO, training arm of the International Labour Organization, organizes the Summer 2023 edition of its Global Youth Forum – an experiential learning platform bringing youth at the forefront of efforts aimed at supporting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and achieving its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  5. Workshop on the Rights of Domestic Workers

    23 June 2023

    The half-day workshop was organised in collaboration with the Labour Department of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.

  6. India to host 'South Asia Regional Training on Evidence-based Policymaking for Decent Work'

    10 - 13 April 2023

    The training will enable the better utilisation of evidence in making impactful development policies.

  9. Webinar: Report presentation and discussion on “Understanding patterns of structural discrimination of migrant and other workers in some countries of South and West Asia”.

    11 January 2023

    The webinar will be a presentation of a recently released background paper titled “Understanding patterns of structural discrimination of migrant and other workers in some countries of South and West Asia” by the authors; Igor Bosc, Jens Lerche, Alpa Shah, Miranda Fajerman and Neha Wadhawan followed by a Q&A discussion. The opening remarks will be delivered by Philippe Vanhuynegem, Branch Chief, Fundamentals, ILO Geneva.

  1. 17th Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting

    The 17th Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM) will bring together government ministers, representatives of workers' and employers' organizations, and academics from Asia, the Pacific and the Arab States in Singapore to discuss concrete steps to drive a human-centred recovery from the COVID-19 crisis.
