The ILO and UN Women are organising an expert group meeting on “Governance of Migration: Opportunities, Challenges and the Way forward”. The meeting will witness participation from stakeholders from India and Gulf countries and reflect upon the future strategic direction of migration governance in India. The meeting will also focus on issues, challenges and potential solutions in countries of origin and employment, as well as analyse the role of migration in development. Sessions will also be held on devising a coordinated, effective response from the UN system.
