Conciliation of Labour Disputes

This course aims to strengthen conciliation skills by developing participants’ knowledge and understanding of consensus-building approaches to conflict management and dispute resolution.

ILO-New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is organizing a tripartite training on “Conciliation of Labour Disputes” from 27-30 April 2015 at V.V. Giri National Labour Institute in Noida. The training programme will be imparted by the International Training Centre of ILO based in Turin.

The course aims to strengthen conciliation skills by developing participants’ knowledge and understanding of consensus-building approaches to conflict management and dispute resolution. The course further aims to enhance participants’ skills and practical competence in consensus-based dispute resolution processes.

There will be 30 participants attending the training, including labour administrators from the centre and states namely from Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. In addition, 5 major trade unions representatives and 5 representatives from the employers’ organizations will participate in the training.
