Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Programme: Responding to Child Labour in the Philippines

The International Labour Organization (ILO) in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) will be holding a workshop on how to make the Philippines' Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Programme more effective in addressing child labour.

Around 100 participants mostly frontline implementers of the CCT will attend the workshop to be held at the Harold's Hotel in Cebu City from 13 to 15 April 2016. The activity will also feature the participation of representatives from the CCT programmes of Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia so they can share their own efforts against child labour.
