Training on Occupational Safety and Health for Workers’ organizations Da Nang, 13-16 November 2017

The training equips officials from workers’ organizations with updated Law and regulations on OSH and related guidance as well as the roles and operation of OSH committee at workplace. In addition, the trainees are also provided with knowledge on risks assessment in SME, especially in construction sector.

Under the cooperation between the SafeYouth@Work project – International Labour Organization in Viet Nam and Viet Nam General Confederation of Labour, the training on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) for workers’ organizations is organized on 13-16 December 2017 in Da Nang.

30 representatives from Trade Unions at local levels and enterprises from Da Nang and surrounding provinces will present in the training. The knowledge on updated OSH Law and regulations, roles and operation of OSH committee, risks assessment process especially in construction sector will be introduced during the course. With the equipped tools and methods, the trainees are expected to be the key factors to disseminate the knowledge on OSH as well as offer valuable advices to develop practical OSH plans which contribute to raise awareness and improve OSH conditions at workplace.
