Submissions may consist of films, photographs, posters, drawings, songs, stories, or any other creative products. They should demonstrate ideas of safety and health in the workplace or the importance of building a preventive culture. The SAFEYOUTH2WORK MEDIA COMPETITION receives entries from 1 May until 24 June.

The initiative is an activity of the ILO in Viet Nam in the framework of the SafeYouth@Work programme to encourage young people to speak up for safety and health issues in the workplace.

Young workers – aged between 15 and 24, suffer up to 40 per cent higher rate of injury than older workers due to a lack of awareness of safety rules and rights, training and experience.
