How to organize my job search? A step-by-step guide for job seekers and those who support them

This guide explains how to define an effective job search strategy. It helps you understand the job market, define your targets, create your communication tools and media, use the internet, and ultimately, successfully integrate into the new company. Intended for autonomous job seekers, it can also be used as a support tool by counsellors at employment agencies around the world.

In June 2021, the International Labour Conference adopted a Call to Action for a Human-centred Recovery from the COVID 19 crisis, to promote decent work in the recovery process.

In this context, the ILO has drawn up an Action Plan for Youth Employment 2020-2030, which aims to mobilize all energies to enable young people, girls, and boys, to build a professional future corresponding to their aspirations. This guide is part of the "toolbox" for young people and those who support them, particularly in the Public Employment Services.
