Impact research for youth employment

Taqeem supports and conducts research to build the evidence for effective design and implementation of youth employment programmes and policies through the Fund for Evaluation in Youth Employment.

Launched in 2010, the Fund for Evaluation is a competitive request for proposals which provides seed funding and technical assistance to impact evaluations and rigorous M&E systems in the Middle East and North Africa. Gender equality and entrepreneurship feature strongly in the research work.

Financial support for the Fund for Evaluation comes from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Silatech, the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the Danish-led Africa Commission and the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation.
