  1. Responsible authorities

    The Ministry of Employment and Human Resources Development is to establish the safest working environment. The Occupational Safety Decree gives the Minister the power to make any regulation as needed and to appoint officers to enforce the OSH laws.
    An Occupational Safety Board was established to advise and assist the Minister in his functions and to perform other functions that may be assigned to it by OSH legislation or by the Minister. Subject to the directions of the Minister, the Director of the Board shall be responsible for the administration of the Occupational Safety Decree and shall perform all such functions as may be necessary for its effective implementation and enforcement.
