ILO/Korea Multi-Country Dialogue "Effective implementation of the Employment Permit System" (ILO-Korea Program)
The overall objective of this two-day multi-country workshop is to encourage policy dialogue and exchange of lessons learned and good practices in the area of remittance services, return and reintegration, and to reflect on the achievements and challenges of the EPS.
The objectives of this meeting are to:
- Share recent information on the implementation of the EPS scheme in Korea and countries of origin
- Present and discuss findings of the survey on financial services in Korea.
- Identify how remittance channels and services can be made more cost-effective, accessible, reliable, quick and transparent
- Exchange lessons learnt and good practices on return and reintegration of migrant workers
