Training of trainers on improving safety and health in small and microenterprises

This course A9716172 is intended for: trainers and technical advisers from government institutions responsible for supporting SMEs on OSH and working conditions; representatives of workers' and employers' organizations involved in supporting their members in improving OSH and working conditions; representatives of non-governmental organizations actively supporting SMEs in OSH and working conditions; staff of technical cooperation projects supporting SMEs; consultants, university teachers and researchers working in the fields of OSH and working conditions.

The International Training Centre of the ILO, in collaboration with SafeWork (the ILO programme which promotes OSH), is organizing this course in Turin to acquaint participants with international guidelines and ILO principles and the experience of consolidated and successful national OSH systems and programmes. Although each country presents different problems where its national OSH situation is concerned, and therefore requires different solutions, this course provides participants with useful inputs to the decision-making process for the improvement and development of OSH governance in their respective countries.
