Three editions of the Academy on Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) forthcoming in 2019

Three editions of ILO Academy on Social and Solidarity Economy will be held in 2019, during the year of ILO centenary and in the wave of the launch of the report of the Global Commission on the Future of Work.

The 10th edition of the ILO Academy on SSE will be held from 3rd to 7th June 2019 in Turin, Italy and it will be sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.

The 11th edition will be held in Tunis, Tunisia, from 1st July to 5th July, 2019 and it will be organized in the framework of the Dutch-funded project PROMESS.

The 12th edition of the ILO Academy will be tentatively held in Spain in September 2019, with the support of the Spanish Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Security.

These editions of the Academy, titled “Academy on Social and Solidarity Economy: The Future of Work” aim to expand the participants’ knowledge on frameworks and discussions on SSE and Future of Work. Being co-organized by the ILO and ITC-ILO, the Academies target people responsible for the promotion of SSE around the world, including policy-makers, practitioners, researchers and representatives of workers' and employers' organizations.
