  1. Labour Migration Academy and Academia sobre las migraciones laborales (bilingual course)

    16 June - 28 November 2014, International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization, Turin, Italy

    This interregional training activity on international labour migration reviews and analyses key issues, strategies, policies and tools for managing international labour migration. In addition to general sessions around three main themes, protection, development and governance, the academy offers the possibility to participants to analyze in-depth key issues of labour migration. The academy will therefore give a broad overview of the different challenges and opportunities related to international labour migration, but it will also give the opportunity to participants to specialize themselves in a specific thematic. Throughout the two-week course, the sharing of international experiences will be highlighted.

  2. Master in Occupational Safety and Health

    8 September 2014 - 30 September 2015, International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy

    The University of Turin, Italy, in partnership with the International Training Centre (ITC) of the ILO, is offering a Master course in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). This one-year programme, to be held in English, includes an Internet-based distance learning phase, a face-to-face residential period on the ITC-ILO’s campus in Turin followed by another distance phase for the preparation of the dissertation.

  3. Global Dialogue Forum on Wages and Working Hours in the Textiles, Clothing, Leather and Footwear Industries

    23 - 25 September 2014, Geneva, Switzerland

    Tripartite participants will discuss ways to address wages and working hours in the textiles, clothing, leather and footwear industries.

  4. ILO-OECD High-Level Roundtable on Responsible Supply Chains in the Textile and Garment Sector

    29 - 30 September 2014, OECD Conference Cetre, Paris, france

    This roundtable will provide a forum for dialogue on building responsible supply chains in the textile and garment sector that contribute to inclusive growth and sustainable development, in line with the recommendations of the ILO Tripartite Declaration of principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The roundtable will also identify challenges and possible areas for future collaborative action.

  5. The employment injury schemes and the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases

    13 - 24 October 2014, International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy

    The general objective of the course is to strengthen the capacity of employment injury institutions for the management of the occupational accidents and diseases and the promotion of the prevention approach on occupational safety and health (OSH).

  6. 18th American Regional Meeting

    13 - 16 October 2014, Lima

    This meeting will focus on the themes taken up in the Director-General's report, in particular regarding progress made by countries over the past four years with the Decent Work Agenda and the principal challenges faced by the region in maintaining patterns of growth with social inclusion.

  8. National programmes and systems of occupational safety and health

    The general objective of this course is to strengthen the capacity of planning, developing and governing the national efforts to improve occupational safety and health (OSH).
