  1. Inception Report for the Global Commission on the Future of Work: Your thoughts

    11 December 2017 - 30 April 2018

    Ahead of the first meeting of the Global Commission on the Future of Work, the ILO prepared an Inception Report with the aim of setting the stage for a fruitful discussion. The ILO is inviting its tripartite constituents as well as others with expertise in the world of work, including companies, foundations, civil society organizations and individuals, to share their views on the issues raised in the report and to provide any additional thoughts on the theme of the Future of Work.

  5. ILO Decent Work Team and Office for the Caribbean Breakfast Meeting

    This event will showcase in a concise, high-impact manner how the ILO is preparing with the Caribbean for the future of work through the presentation of the two aforementioned documents. This aims to reinforce ILO’s voice and visibility as the world’s expert agency for the world of work, and indeed the future of work, in this case focusing on training.

    Global Forum on Just Transition

    Under the framework of the Green Centenary Initiative, the ILO and the United Nations climate change secretariat are convening a Global Forum on Just Transition on the 5th of December, 2017, in Geneva.

  7. The Future of Work in the Caribbean: What do we know? What do we need to know?

    4 December 2017

    A report on the findings will contribute towards the ILO global Initiative, including a constituent meeting to be convened by the ILO in 2018.

  2. Future of Social Dialogue in the Republic of Korea

    ILO has been participating in the international symposium on social dialogue in Seoul on 29 November 2017. The symposium brings together tripartite constituents of the Republic of Korea, the Economic and Social Councils of France, Spain, Ireland, the Netherlands and the ILO.
