ILO and Eurofound to publish joint report on telework

GENEVA – The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to launch a joint report with the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) entitled “Working Anytime, Anywhere: The effects on the World of Work”, on Wednesday, 15 February.

At a time when the use of digital technology is constantly growing, the new research highlights opportunities and challenges of expanding telework.

It synthesizes research carried out by both organizations in 15 countries, including ten EU Member States as well as Argentina, Brazil, India, Japan and the United States.

The study also provides recommendations to accompany those sweeping changes.

The report and all associated material and information are under strict embargo until 12:00 GMT – 13:00 Geneva/Brussels time on Wednesday, 15 February.
