Global Wage Report 2016/17

A quarter of the total wages in Europe goes to the top 10% earners

The Global Wage Report 2016 shows that, in 2010, the top 10% of European best-paid workers obtained 25.5% of total wages, while the lower half of workers got less than 30%.

ILO research findings also show that women are overrepresented on the lowest pay scale, while men are more predominant among the best-paid employees.
