ILO to publish a report on employment-oriented investment strategy for Europe

GENEVA (ILO News) – The International Labour Organization (ILO) is to launch the report “An Employment-Oriented Investment Strategy for Europe” on Wednesday, 28 January.

The new study from the ILO Research Department provides policy recommendations to increase the positive effects of the three-year investment plan put forward by European Commission (EC) President Jean-Claude Juncker at the end of last year.

It especially looks at how the EC plan could create jobs and boost Europe’s competitiveness via public and private investment.

The report and all associated material and information are under strict embargo until 14:00 GMT on Wednesday, 28 January (15:00 CET).
