Inspection copy policy for colleges or universities

ILO publications would be happy to send you an inspection copy of a book you are considering for course use. However, as the ILO is a non-profit organization, it is not possible for us to give free inspection copies to all who request them. We have instituted therefore a 60-day examination policy for all books being considered for course use.

We invite you to examine the publication of your choice for 60 days. If after this period you decide to adopt the book as a course text for ten or more students, please return the invoice sent to you with a copy of your or your bookstore's order for which you will receive a 30% academic discount. You may then keep the examination copy for yourself and the invoice will be cancelled.

If you choose not to adopt the publication, you may still purchase the book at our special faculty discount of 30% by remitting payment for the invoice mailed to you. Or simply return the publication and the invoice to our office in Geneva with no further obligation.
