"Women are economic engines of change", says Charlotte Ponticelli, deputy undersecretary for international affairs at the U.S. Department of Labor's International Labor Affairs Bureau, in a discussion with Zohreh Tabatabai. Her view is clear: to make this change happen, women crucially need to start their lives with a good education. "I think progress is happening, however - and this is where the ILO is important - it's very important to share and to spread best practices."
