Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Mental Health and Well-Being Discussion

International rugby union referee Nigel Owens joins us at the ILO for a discussion on sexual orientation, gender identity, and mental health and well-being.

This year’s IDAHOT is focusing on mental health and well-being, and the ILO will host its annual event on the 18 May from 11 to 12.30 in the ILO. This year’s event will have the international rugby referee Nigel Owens as a keynote speaker, followed by a question and answer session. Nigel Owens is member of the elite group of rugby union officials who referee at Rugby Football Union World Cup level, and he is the only openly gay international rugby union referee. Indeed, Mr Owens was the senior match official at the final of the RFU World Cup in London in October last year. Mr Owen’s presentation will be followed by an interactive discussion.
