ShoThe focus of the Market Assessment & Value Chain Analysis assignment is on enabling refugees to become economically independent by re-orienting their subsistence activities to- wards production for sale on markets. This requires understanding mar- ket trends in selected sectors and value chains and supporting access to finance and entrepreneurship training to improve their market access. To the extent possible, the assignment should involve the local actors in the analytical work so that their capacity is built to undertake their own market and value chain assessments in the future.
