The relevance of wood furniture, aquaculture and tourism value chains to boost SMEs productivity and upgrade working conditions in Peru.
Short Description
In April 2015, the ILO Lab, in partnership with SCORE Peru, conducted a sector selection in three sub-sectors: (i) wood and furniture, (ii) fish and aquaculture, and (iii) tourism, in order to get a first look into the markets systems and determine the economic and social relevance, inclusive growth opportunities, and feasibility for intervention in each of the three sub-sectors. The end goal of the assessment was to help the SCORE program select a sector or cluster best suited for intervention, while at the same time analyzing other potential intervention opportunities to improve working conditions.See also:
