This panel discussed the status of digital wages in the garment and footwear supply chain. It highlighted how responsible digital wage payments can contribute to workers’ empowerment and financial inclusion and to sustainable enterprises. The session also addressed the challenges and opportunities for responsible transition at scale. The session included representatives of the BTCA, the ILO, workers, employers and brands.
