Craig Trans arrived in Halifax on the evening of December 18, 2012. Vessel restricted from departure by Transport Canada due to complaints regarding living condition aboard the vessel and Mission to Seafarers notified at that time. PSC inspection was carried on Dec. 19, 2012 and the vessel detained. Mission to Seafarers,located in close proximity to the vessel, provided warm clothing,food, water, etc. and access to telephone to contact families. Crew heated and powered by vessel generator. Crew were well taken care of through generous donations by local organizations and the general public.
