International Shipping Federation (9 2010) Russian(10) and Ukraine(4) crews were repatriated to their countries after an interview with the Japanese Coast Guard. Total cost of work to remove a vessel was about twenty million Japanese yen(approx f130,000). Japanese Fishing Association tried to contact owner to demand payment but had no success.
ITF (25 2016) The case is closed but the seafarers have not received all outstanding wages.
