    People's General Committee Order No. 238 of 1989 concerning foreign employees.

    This orders prohibits the employment of any foreigner unless prior approval of the Central Employment bureau is obtained. It also establishes the procedures and conditions for the employment of foreigners.

    Law No. 10 of 1989 concerning the Rights and Duties of Arab Citizens in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya.

    The four Sections of this Law entitles all Arab citizens the right to enter and reside in Libya. Arab citizens shall possess all rights and duties accorded to Libyans.

    People's General Committee Order No. 247 of 1989 on the executive regulation of law No. 6 of 1987 regulating the Admission and Residency of foreigners.

    This regulation specifies the border points by which foreigners may enter Libya, as well as conditions of entry and fees required. It also lists the Categories of foreigners who are either not allowed to enter or not allowed to leave Libya.
