    In accordance with the Constitution, the laws "On State Guarantees for Minimum Social Standards", "On the Basic Principles of Social Service of the Population", "On the Rights and Guarantees for the Disabled", also with the UN Conventions "On the Rights of the Child", and "On the Rights of the Disabled", establishes the "State Minimum Social Standards of Social Services for Persons with Disabilities Including Children in Semi-Stationary Organizations and Institutions of Social Service", which include:

    I: General provisions
    II: Principles of provision of social services
    III: Admission into the centres of social service
    IV: Definition of the needs of service recipients in social services, development and implementation of individual working plan.
    V: Requirements for social services provided by social service centres
    VI: Grounds for suspension and termination of provision of social services by social service centre.
    Appendices 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

    Law No. 185 of 20 November 2012 Amending and Supplemeting the Labour Code. - Legislation from CIS Countries

    Introduces a number of changes to several articles of the Labour Code. Namely, replaces wording such as 'invalid', 'handicapped' and 'handicapped since childhood' (except for Article 91 para 1.3, Article 237 para 2.2, Article 244 para 3) by words 'person with disabilities'; words 'invalid child' and 'invalid children' accordingly by words 'child with disabilities' and 'children with disabilities'.

    Law No. 421-XII of 17 April 1991 on Social Protection of the Disabled in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.

    Adoption: 1991-04-17 | KGZ-1991-L-35162

    Contains principles of social protection and social integration of the disabled, including disabled children. Provides for medical, vocational and social rehabilitation of disabled persons, their development, education and vocational guidance and their cultural activities and integration into the workforce.
