    Decree No. 970 of 2003 concerning the formation and system of work in the Consultative Council for Work

    Provides for the establishment of the tripartite Consultative Council for Work. The Council provides advice concerning: draft laws on work relationships and ratification of international conventions; methods to avert collective labour disputes and to enhance cooperation between workers' organisations and employers' organisations; vocational and productive relations; and proposals made by the Minister of Manpower concerning work relations. Sets forth the structure of the Council and deals with various administrative details.

    Order No. 356 of 1995 of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to establish the High Committee for Labour and Production Incentives and specify its terms of reference.

    Amends Presidential Order No. 584 of 1970 to provide for the establishment of the High Committee at the Ministry of Manpower and Employment. The High Committee is composed of representatives of numerous government departments (electricity, transport, environment, tourism and many others), the General Federation of Trade Unions, and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, but the Order says nothing about the Committee's functions.
