    Article 2: As from 1/07/2018, workers who do not fall under Law No. 81 of 2016 will receive a special allowance of 10% of their basic salaries.

    Article 3: Grants government employees, whether they fall under rules of the Civil Service Law or not, a bonus of 200 EGP for grade 4 employees or their equivalents, 190 EGP for general management degrees or their equivalents.

It can be also extended to foreigners who are earning their income or living in Egypt subject to reciprocity.
    Government shall guarantee free healthcare services to people who are unable to pay the contribution fees according to the rules to be determined by the Prime Minister.

    This Law consisting of 3 articles aims at replacing the reference to residential areas instead of residential communities (art.1).
    It also specifies: 1. Destination of the Environment Protection Fund, more general in the original Law. It shall finance activities, studies and environmental projects of the State for protecting the environment, natural resources, sustainable development and pollution combat (amendment to art.14); 2. Resources constituting the Fund (art.14 bis).
    The amendment bans import, circulating and use of coal and petroleum coke without permit from the concerned authorities (art. 40 bis) and strengthens penalties for violating the provisions of the Law (art. 86 bis).

This raise shall not be considered as a part of the basic salary of the civil servant.

    Repeals Clause 2 of Article 6 of the aforementioned House of Representatives Law.

    Article 306(bis)(a) of Law No. 58 of 1937 on promulgating the Penal Code is amended and replaced with a new paragraph that provides as follows: individuals who carry out sexual or obscene gestures in any manner, including by modern means of communication, will be punished with a term of imprisonment of not less than six months or a fine of EGP 3000. It also states that if the act of sexual harassment is repeated by the same individual, the punishment of imprisonment will be increased to one year and the fine to EGP 5,000-10,000.

    Additional paragraph (b) added to Article 306(bis) of Law No. 58 of 1937 on promulgating the Penal Code that states as follows: if the harassment is done with the intent of receiving sexual gratification from the victim, the punishment will be a term of imprisonment of not less than one year and a fine of EGP 10,000-20,000. Moreover, any individual who uses duress to receive sexual gratification will be punished with a term of imprisonment of between two and five years and a fine of EGP 20,000-50,000.

    Article 225:
    This Constitution shall be in force as of the date of announcing the public approval of it in a referendum, based on a majority of valid votes of the referendum participants.

    Article 236:
    Constitutional declarations issued by the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and by the President of the Republic from 11 February 2011 to the date of the adoption of this Constitution are hereby repealed, while their consequent effects shall remain valid and in force and may not in any way be appealed against.

    Section 1 repeals section 23 of Law No. 35 of 1976 on Trade Unions.

    Section 2 amends and replaces Section 42 of Law No. 35, as follows:
    "If one of the trade union board directors member reached the age of retirement or become disabled or for any other reason his seat became empty, the next candidate with the highest number of votes shall replace his seat.
    The minister has the right to appoint board members of the trade union, if the minimum required number of members did not manage for any reason, to fill the vacant seats."

    Section 3 provides that the election of the Egyptian Trade Union Federation is postponed for six months, or it could be held before the six months if the government issues a new Trade Union Law.

    This law provides insurance for health and care services, in cases of sickness and accidents to working females who financially support themselves or their family. It applies to women who are not covered under any other health insurance law. The working woman shall pay from her income an annual contribution payment of 1%, or a minimum of 12(E£).
