Abstract/Citation
Obliges an employer to return a seafarer who has been left behind or is shipwrecked. Also obliges the employer to make provision for the seafarer's relief and maintenance (except in the case of a seafarer absent without cause for more than three months). This includes reasonable legal costs for the defence of the seafarer in certain criminal proceedings. Also provides regulations relating to wages and property of seafarers left behind or shipwrecked.
