| Résumé/Citation: | These Regulations were promulgated under the authority of the Maritime Act. Chapter 1 pertains to the registration and certification of various classes of officers and crew members; it includes examination subjects for each employment category as well as various fees related to certification. Chapter 8 contains the manning requirements of various classes of merchant ships. It also provides a standard agreement between seamen and ship master establishing the duties and responsibilities that each has to the other. |
