Replaces Articles 2-4 (age of child, rights of child and protection, right to kinship and lawful parents), 17 (birth certificate), 49 (stipulates children with right to monthly pension), 53 (right to education), 54(2) (administration of education by guardian), 65 ("no child may be employed at any kind of work that - due to its nature or circumstances - would put the health, safety or morals of the child to danger. Moreover, no child may particularly work in any of the worst forms of work for children as identified in Convention No. 182 of 1999. Without prejudice to what is stipulated in the first clause, the executive regulations implementing the present law shall identify the system of child employment, work circumstances and fields of work, crafts, industries allowed therefor according to the child's age" - also adds new article 65-bis concerning medical examinations of children before entering into work and periodic annual examinations as well as annual leave which is to exceed the adult annual leave by seven days), 68 (rules concerning rules employer hiring a child has to abide by), 70 (maternity leave), 75 (rehabilitation of disabled child), 86 (rehabilitation tools), 94-99 (criminal responsibility of child, protection of child, establishment of a General Committee for Child Protection), 101 (penalties for children who have committed a crime), 104 (training and rehabilitation of child), 107, 111-114 and 116-117(negligence of child and criminal responsibility), 125 (right to legal assistance), 127 and 134(2) of the Child Law .
