Abolishes the distinction between a felony and a misdemeanour. Makes amendments to a number of Acts to implement this change including: the Post Office Act; the Counterfeit Currency In (Convention) Act; the Customs Act; the Stamp Duty Act; the Juries Act; the Coinage (Offences) Act; the Criminal Procedure Act; the Indictment Act; the Malicious Injury to Property Act; The Perjury Act; the Vagrancy Act; the Police Act; the Official Secrets Act, 1911 (contained in the Appendix to Title XII); the Judicial Sale of Land Act; the Administration of Estates (Jurisdiction and Procedure) Act; the Agricultural Aids Act; the Bankruptcy Act; the Insurance Corporation of Barbados Act; the Pawnbrokers Act; the Barbados National Bank Act; the Central Bank of Barbados Bank; and the Veterinary Surgeons Act.
