Second Region

Provides for the application in Zambia of certain acts of the Parliament of the UK relating to merchant shipping. Divided into 8 parts. Part 1 (s. 1-3) contains preliminary provisions. Part 2 (s. 4-12) regulates registration. Part 3 (s. 13-18) deals with masters and seamen. Part 4 (s. 19-25) provides for safety of shipping. Part 5 (s. 26-29) regulates shipping inquiries and courts. Part 6 (s. 30) deals with liability of shipowners. Part 7 (s. 31) regulates legal proceedings. Part 8 (s. 32-37) contains miscellaneous provisions.
